Compliance & Reporting
Every installation documented as the work happens
Energy installations are regulated work. Warranty claims, electrical safety rules and grid requirements all assume someone wrote things down properly. In Done, documentation is part of the workflow, so it is complete when the job is, instead of a binder someone puts together afterwards.
Before anyone drives anywhere
A site survey without the site visit
Before an installer is matched, the customer completes a photo pre-check in the app: the installation spot, the fuse box, the electricity meter. Done's AI reads the photos, identifies the meter make and model, checks fuse capacity and space for more breakers, and flags likely extra costs while there is still time to deal with them.
- Pre-check forms set up per retailer, product and job type
- AI findings attached to the job
- Likely extra work flagged before scheduling, not on installation day
- Installers arrive having already seen the site

What gets documented on every job
From the first photo to the final protocol, everything is structured, attached to the job and there when someone asks for it.
Structured report forms
Installation reports are forms with defined fields, set up per retailer, product and job type. No free text that someone has to interpret.
Several units, one visit
Annual inspections and sites with many charge points are reported per unit in a single visit, without duplicate paperwork.
Required photos
Mandatory photo steps capture the work as built. The evidence sits on the job, not in someone's camera roll.
PDF protocols
Each submitted report becomes a PDF protocol the customer keeps for their warranty records.
Electrical safety documentation
Report templates can be configured to each market's requirements. In Sweden, they follow the electrical safety documentation requirements for energy installations.
Grid pre-notification
In Sweden, Done reads the grid operator from the customer's electricity bill and checks its föranmälan requirements against a database of 150+ grid operators.
When the work is done
Submitting the report closes the job
When the installer submits the report, Done validates it, generates the PDF, creates the billing record and notifies your systems by webhook. The customer gets their documentation, finance gets a correct basis for the invoice, and nobody chases anyone for paperwork.
- Incomplete reports are caught before they are accepted
- Submission triggers invoicing, with no manual reconciliation
- The customer receives the completed report automatically
- A full record per job: photos, report, approvals and messages
