Scheduling & Dispatch

The right installer on every job, automatically

Done ranks installers by driving time to the site and the skills the job needs, then offers the job to one installer at a time until someone accepts. Coordinators stop calling around, and the installer sees the job and the pay before saying yes.

How matching works

Matched on driving time and skills

Done ranks candidate installers by actual driving distance and time to the site, filtered by the skills the job requires. The best match gets first right to claim the job. If they decline or don't answer in time, the offer moves to the next in line. Installers only see jobs they can actually take, so there are no stale job boards and no double bookings.

  • Ranking on real driving time to the site
  • Skill filters, so only qualified installers get the offer
  • One offer at a time, with a time limit before it moves on

Tools for the coordinator's day

What the coordinator works with, and what the installer sees when an offer lands.

Offers that show the pay

Installers get each offer by push and SMS, with the job and what it pays, before they accept. Jobs accepted on full information tend to stay accepted.

A calendar built for field work

Installation dates, site visits and tentative bookings in one calendar, for one installer or a whole team.

Jobs and installers on one map

Spot clusters, plan routes and see where coverage is thin before it becomes a backlog.

Automatic or manual, per job type

Let Done dispatch end to end, or have a coordinator confirm each assignment. Set it per job type and change it whenever you like.

Any mix of installers

Your own team, subcontractors and the Done network

The same matching works for whoever does the job: your employed installers, your subcontractors, or Done's vetted installer network. Mix them as volumes change.

  • Assign jobs to named people or open them to a wider pool
  • Installer companies work as teams, with shared calendars and roles
  • Pass jobs to the Done network when your own capacity runs out
  • The same job view, chat and reports, whoever installs
